Chirsty Garmon

Christy completed her B.S. in Biology at Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville AL in 2004 and received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy, Birmingham AL in 2009. Originally from Talladega, AL, Christy began her career in community pharmacy practice with CVS Health in 2004. Since then she has held various positions in the community setting with CVS and is currently is a District Leader supervising retail and pharmacy operations. Christy is also committed to pharmacy service and advocacy through membership and involvement in both national and state pharmacy organizations.  In addition to membership in American Pharmacists Association (APhA) and the National Community Pharmacy Association (NCPA),  Christy has held leadership positions within the Alabama Pharmacy Association (APA); served on the Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy Advisory Board, and served on the Alabama Department of Public Health Office of Women’s Health Steering Committee.
